Add/Edit user

To add a new user you need to log in to your administration area (from the main administrative menu choose Users → Add new User link). You may also find new user creation link at quick link menu in the Users section.

When clicked on Add new user link, user creation page will load containing user options menu on the left.

• Status → There are two options - Active and Inactive. You can set to inactive if you don't want the specified user to have access to your site (to log in).
• Privileges → Here you can set the groups your user will belong to - either default or custom groups.

When finished with setting up these options go to user creation form on your right. Here you need to insert some details about the user.

• First name → Put here the name of user
• Last name → Put here the last name of user
• Username (required) → Your user can later log in to your website using this username
• Password and Retype Password (required) - Insert the password and confirm it. The user can change the password later if he wants to.
• E-mail (required) - Insert here users e-mail address
• Picture → You may upload a picture of this user. To delete the image leave the space empty and click on Save
• Short bio → Here you may enter information about your user
• Website → If your user has a website enter the URL here

Click on Save button and you're done!

After you choose Users from the main administrative menu user management panel will load on your right.

User management panel enables you to manage users, set their privileges, status, or even delete them if necessary.

For easier administration, you may sort your users by their full name or their username.

You may also choose from the dropdown menu how many users you want displayed within a browser screen.

To View/edit an user click on the edit icon that you'll find on the right side of the user name. Edit user form will load and you will be able to change all of the user details.

You may change user permissions and add or remove user to and from a group by marking a checkbox on the left of the username then select appropriate usergroup for your user from the Select action dropdown menu.

The same way you can change users status to active or inactive, just mark checkbox on the left of your user and select desired status from the Select action dropdown menu.

To delete some user or more at the same time select the user(s) using the check box, and from the Select action dropdown menu choose Delete. You will remove selected user(s) permanently.

You may also choose Soft delete option from the dropdown menu. This will disable your user to use any of your resources just like if he/she was deleted permanently, without actually being deleted from your database. This is a very useful Vivvo option. For example, when you permanently delete your user you will lose all data about him, but soft delete will save his data so if you find your new user suspicious you may check if he/she is on your banned list (if he/she was deleted once before).

You may also permanently delete your user by clicking on Delete button positioned on the right side of the username.
