You may also upload video files from your hard drive and attach them to desired article. First select target folder from Upload destination drop-down list, then click on Upload file. Now select your local folder and choose video(s), then click Open to upload selected files. You can watch how the upload progresses.

Check in Admin → Preferences if the format of this video file you are trying to upload is set in “Allowed file types for upload” field or else you may get an error while uploading.

After uploading, video will be automatically added to the article.

If you prefer, you can upload files via FTP as well.

When you are done with adding/uploading video file choose “Save” or “Publish” button to save and apply changes. Video will be previewed within the article and also on the particular category page this article belongs to.

Show videos on the category and article pages

Go to your Administration - Categories and select a category that will contain articles with video files attached. Set non_equal_video.tpl for “Custom layout” and two_column_video.tpl for “Article custom layout”.

In case non_equal_video.tpl and two_column_video.tpl templates do not show up in drop-down menu as described, it is necessary to copy template files manually from /plugins/video_box/templates/ to VIVVO_TEMPLATE_DIR.
